Hennie Bekker is an award-winning musician, master composer and arranger, and multi-platinum-selling recording artist. He is known for his ambient and New Age sound on his own Tranquility, African Tapestries and Kaleidoscopes series, and his decades of experience as a producer, arranger and composer for film, television, and for other well-known South African artists. Bekker is a pioneering figure in the use of music and nature sounds, having composed the first fourteen albums in Dan Gibson's Solitudes - Exploring Nature with Music series, including the quadruple platinum Harmony and million-selling Classics. Bekker's eclectic career spans decades, cultures, continents and genres – from New Age to world music to electronica and relaxation.
